Josh Ruebner

Josh Ruebner is an Adjunct Lecturer in Georgetown University's Program on Justice and Peace where he teaches the course Justice in Peace in Palestine/Israel.

He is pursuing his PhD in Palestine Studies at the University of Exeter's European Centre for Palestine Studies. His dissertation is entitled "A Tragedy of Catastrophic Proportions: The United States and the Palestinian Nakba, 1947-1949".

He is the author of Shattered Hopes: Obama's Failure to Broker Israeli-Palestinian Peace and Israel: Democracy or Apartheid State?

Ruebner currently works as the Policy Director of the Institute for Middle East Understanding Policy Project, and has previously served in various positions at Americans for Justice in Palestine Action, the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, and Congressional Research Service.
